I was born in Fort Worth, Texas and grew up in Raton, a small town of around 8,000 people situated just east of the Sangre de Cristo mountains in beautiful northern New Mexico. I graduated from The University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and History. I enjoy memoir writing, journaling, music, movies, dancing, camping, watercolor painting, playing the guitar and skiing.
