I am a 40 year old single mom of two children, a son who is 10 and a daughter of 7. I work as a marketing copywriter from home. We live in a Spanish Mediterranean house in the Bay Area, Northern California. We live in the foothills, at the base of the ridge that separates Oakland from Orinda on the other, hotter side of the mountain. It is a lovely mountain with thousands of shades of red and green which deepen before the twilight into deep, intriguing shadows and pockets of every hue.
