I am an education professor at a teaching university and I teach (future) teachers about teaching. I am a co-founder of The Fred Tjardes School of Innovation. My degrees are in English, education, and Educational Psychology. I am married to a middle school English teacher, and I have two kids and two cats. I am wholly passionate about education and spend the majority of my days in schools, reading about schools, reading about teaching, and writing about teaching.
