Tom Rees is an “outside the box” leader who empowers others and develops strategic partnerships. He is a creative problem-solver who is not afraid to take calculated risks. He will present new and creative ideas, and will challenge the status quo. He has a sense of urgency and his directness is one of his great strengths. He is committed to serving the local church as they help lost people become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. Tom is the director of Church Planting and Development of the Pennsylvania-Delaware District of the Assemblies of God and serves as the Assistant to the Superintendent. Tom also is the district HonorBound Director and is serving on the national HonorBound Advisory Board. Tom earned his masters degree from Temple University and is an adjunct professor and alumni president at Valley Forge Christian College. He speaks extensively in the local church and at men’s ministries events, ministry training conferences and leadership seminars. He is an encouraging speaker who communicates effectively through humor and relevant, practical principles. Growing up in a broken home, the thing Tom values more than any of the above is his family. He resides in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania with his lovely wife, Sherry, and two vibrant daughters, Courtney (18) and Britney (16). They enjoy Broadway, sports and traveling on dad's bargain airfares.
