Toni Airaksinen, Journalist

Toni Airaksinen is an education reporter with a focus on the First Amendment, exposing academic fraud and antisemitism, and writing in support of due process rights for students on college campuses. She has a BA from Barnard College of Columbia University. Over the past 10 years, she has published over 3,400 exclusive news articles. Her investigations have appeared in the New York Daily News, The Columbia Spectator, Quillette Magazine, USA Today, The Daily Caller and many more, and her articles have been picked up by Drudge and Instapundit a combined 70 times. Her reports have been cited in thousands of articles, dozens of academic books, and been debated quite often on FOX News and OANN. They have also been used to inform public policy, as many think-tank lawsuits (such as PEN America, SpeechFirst, the Rutgers Law Review and the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression, also known as FIRE) have cited my reporting in their letters to the public and to courts. During the Obama administration, she was invited by the Department of Education to serve on a virtual panel, where she was noted as an expert in the McKinney-Vento Homelessness Assistance Act. Later, under the Trump administration, she was profiled by the Department of Education as a champion of school choice during School Choice Week. She blogs on Substack in addition to writing for Liberty Affair, and is based in Delray Beach and Boca Raton, FL.
