Hey there, I'm Jane (alias Tilley). I'm a wife, proud mother to two grown children, and beaming Mimi to a brand new grandson! I'm also an avid gardener who finds joy in spending time with my hands in the dirt. The name Tilley means "battle maiden", and that's exactly what you face in a garden—a battle. A battle against weather, weeds, and pestilence. But it's also a haven—a safe, calming place to enjoy God's intricate and mesmerizing handiwork. Much like life, gardening is clean and pretty one day, and a jumbled mess of pesky vines and weeds the next. This blog entwines the act of gardening with the magic of ordinary days.
