Teru KK Wong was born on September 8, 1986, in British Hong Kong and personally witnessed the historic handover of sovereignty to China on July 1, 1997. He attended Po Leung Kuk Tang Yuk Tien College for his secondary education, where he actively participated in various school and community activities. He served as a Civic Education Ambassador, a member of the Community Youth Club, a committee member of the school house, and took part in school drama productions both as a performer and behind the scenes, demonstrating outstanding leadership and teamwork abilities. Before entering university, Mr. Wong briefly worked at Sincere Finance and assisted with a friend's catering service, gaining preliminary work experience. On October 21, 2008, he graduated from the Department of History at Lingnan University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. During his university years, he also worked part-time at an internet café, a pharmacy, and a cream puff shop, showcasing his adaptability to different work environments. Beginning in June 2008, Mr. Wong started experiencing auditory hallucinations and was diagnosed with schizophrenia on May 17, 2011. Despite these challenges, he remained resilient and actively participated in rehabilitation courses and activities organized by Kwai Chung Hospital, the Jockey Club Early Psychosis Project, the New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association, and the Shine Skills Development Centre, striving for recovery. After relocating to Tuen Mun in 2012, he briefly worked as a crew member at a local McDonald's. In early April 2014, he began day training at Wu King Wellness Centre in Tuen Mun, and officially re-entered society on October 17, 2014. His first full-time position after recovery was as a Service Attendant at Tuen Mun Hospital, exemplifying his perseverance and determination. On April 30, 2023, Mr. Wong made a commitment to his Christian faith, marking a new chapter in his life. In addition to the aforementioned experiences, he has also worked at the Gunag Li Paper Products, the Sunny Lighting Electric Company Limited and as a studio assistant at the "Old Old Maru", a position introduced by the Labour Department's Selective Placement Division, and worked as a sales in Shum Shui Po computer mall. Altogether, Mr. Wong has held twenty-three positions across various industries, some of them with supporting documentation, reflecting his diverse career development and positive contributions to society. 黃家傑先生於1986年9月8日出生於英屬香港,親歷1997年7月1日香港主權回歸中國的重要歷史時刻。中學就讀於保良局董玉娣中學,期間積極參與校內外事務,曾擔任公民教育大使、公益少年團成員、社團幹事,並參與校內話劇演出及幕後工作,展現出卓越的領導與協作能力。 在升讀大學前,黃先生曾於訊匯金融及朋友經營的到會服務短暫工作,累積初步職場經驗。2008年10月21日,他於嶺南大學歷史系畢業,獲得文學士學位。在大學期間,亦曾於網吧、藥房及泡芙店等地兼職,展現出適應不同工作環境的能力。 自2008年6月開始,黃先生出現幻聽症狀,並於2011年5月17日確診為精神分裂症。面對挑戰,他並未自暴自棄,反而積極參與由葵涌醫院、賽馬會思覺健康計劃、新生精神復康會及展亮技能發展中心等機構舉辦的康復課程及活動,努力追求「復元」。 2012年遷居屯門後,曾於區內麥當勞短暫擔任餐務組組員。2014年4月初開始在屯門湖景安泰軒接受日間訓練,並於同年10月17日正式重返社會,康復後首份全職工作為屯門醫院綜合服務員,充分展現其堅毅與自強精神。 2023年4月30日,黃先生決志信主,成為基督徒,人生進入新階段。除上述經歷外,他亦曾於廣利紙品、廣州陽光照明電器有限公司及由勞工處展能就業科介紹的「老泥丸」工作室擔任助理,深水埗腦場Sales等,共有多達廿三份不同行業的工作經驗,部份有相關文件證明,充分體現其多元化的職涯發展及對社會的積極貢獻。
