Dave Jensen is a freelance writer, copy editor, herpetologist, and owner of Wasatch Snake Removal in Salt Lake City, Utah. He has decades of experience in the handling of venomous and non-venomous snakes and in the relocation, removal and rehabilitation of injured, unwanted, abandoned and “nuisance” snakes and other reptiles. He is licensed by the State of Utah to relocate snakes statewide for the benefit of snakes and humans. Dave is a past president of the Utah Association of Herpetologists (UtAH). These days, he writes extensively about snakes in an attempt to eliminate the ignorance and fear that most people have about these amazing animals.
