Robert Stacewicz
Hi, thanks for stopping by my profile page. A bit more about me; I'm an extremely passionate plantsman, and I have over 15 years experience working in horticulture. From an early age, gardening has been a passion of mine, and has lead me to visit and work in gardens around the world. Following the completion of my horticulture degree, I've been able to travel the globe, visiting gardens, and gaining inspiration from all corners of the world. I've been fortunate enough to visit Europe, North America, Argentina and Uruguay, Australia, Zimbabwe and Mozambique, South East Asia, India and Vietnam. I've developed a very comprehensive knowledge of plants, ranging from tropical to temperate. With a scientific background, I've also developed a keen sense of climate and growing conditions, knowing what plants require to develop to their full potential in their individual environments. In 2010, I started a Garden Design business, The Garden Sage London Ltd. This is located in my home town of Wimbledon, South London, also offering garden build and maintenance services locally. Aside from horticulture, I take a keen interest in nature and animals. I enjoy writing (a fantasy series many years in the works!) and am very keen on design in every sense. I take inspiration for my home and gardens from my travels, but also from classic to modern design. I would consider myself someone that prefers fresh ideas and thinking than copying the blueprint.
