Rolf George Shervey has developed a broad professional foundation in business management consulting, project management, quality consulting and auditing, strategic planning, program management, supply chain management, customer relationship management, and technical writing. As an independent consultant and writer, he provides services tailored to each client's needs. He has authored or co-authored three technical publications, reflecting his practical experience and communication skills. His work reflects a deep commitment to quality, consistent in his career and personal life. In 2015, Rolf founded Quality Partners and became Principal Consultant for Quality Management and Process. Over the last nine years, he has delivered process improvement strategies that support client objectives, enhance operational efficiency, and strengthen customer satisfaction. He also includes developing quality manuals, policy documents, flow charts, and technical work instructions. His career includes 15 years of experience in the semiconductor industry and eight years in the aerospace sector. For more than 14 years, George Shervey held significant roles at a company now known as Onto Innovation. From 2012 to 2015, he led the company’s effort to achieve ISO 9001 International Quality Management Systems certification for the first time. Following this achievement, he was promoted to Quality Systems Manager, overseeing operations for a company with over 600 employees across U.S. and international locations. In this role, he implemented cost-saving initiatives that resulted in $364,000 in annual savings and coordinated the work of 14 internal auditors located in different business units. Earlier, Rolf served as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, writing internal quality documentation and working with certification auditors. He started as a Senior Applications Engineer at the company, supporting metrology equipment in collaboration with SEMATECH at SUNY Albany. He tested new sensor technologies, coordinated over 20 equipment installations, and managed process integrations for projects valued between $1 million and $5 million. His work also included training clients in Malaysia, Singapore, China, Taiwan, and several European countries. In 2011, in recognition of his work during this period, he was listed in “Who’s Who In Engineering.” Later, George Shervey accepted roles such as Senior Applications Engineer, Technical Support Manager, Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Senior Supplier Quality Engineer, Regional Subcontracts Manager, and Production Quality Engineer. These positions allowed him to apply his skills in different settings, including aerospace, subcontracting, and technical support functions. Following high school, Rolf enlisted in the U.S. Navy and was a Nuclear Reactor Operator aboard submarines. His service included multiple postings across the country. As a civilian, he continued to relocate for work as companies sought out his professional expertise. While managing a full-time work schedule and global travel, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Global Management from the University of Phoenix in Tempe. George Shervey holds certifications in Nuclear Electronics Technician Maintenance Supervisor Training and Submarine Reactor Operations & Maintenance from the U.S. Navy. He also completed ISO 9001:2008 Lead Auditor training, certified by Exemplar Global, which remained valid through 2019. Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, he now lives in Melbourne, Florida. He is a practicing Roman Catholic and regularly attends Mass. Rolf has supported several causes over the years. He has been a member of The American Legion and the Wounded Warrior Project for over 15 years and a member and donor of the Heritage Foundation for over seven years. He values contributions to civil society, human rights, international relations, and cultural awareness. His interests include traveling, writing, photography, cooking, and spending time in natural environments. He also writes about issues important to him, including veterans’ mental health, suicide prevention, and initiatives such as the Til Valhalla Project, Flanders Fields, Tunnel to Towers Foundation, and the American Legion, which focus on supporting veterans and their families through various services.
