Rob Wilburn

Rob Wilburn's journey from Bethesda, Maryland, to the vibrant city of San Antonio, Texas, is deeply rooted in the Texan landscape of Odessa, where he spent his formative years. Growing up against the backdrop of Permian High School, the setting of the renowned book "Friday Night Lights," a blend of Texan traditions and familial bonds shaped his childhood. From a young age, Rob developed a passion for automobiles, a shared interest he cultivated alongside his father and brother. Together, they delved into the intricacies of car mechanics, fostering his keen eye for detail and craftsmanship. His mother's ER/ICU nurse role instilled in him a sense of empathy and service, shaping his character and values. Raised in a close-knit community, he found camaraderie in church activities and shared experiences with friends and neighbors. These early influences laid the groundwork for his future endeavors and instilled a strong sense of community and resilience. Transitioning to Texas A&M University, Rob pursued a degree in Industrial Distribution, where he excelled academically while immersing himself in extracurricular activities. As a member of the waterski team and the Aggie Wranglers Country Western Dance Team, he forged lasting friendships and cherished memories, further enriching his collegiate experience.
