Paul Daugerdas
Paul Daugerdas, a distinguished consultant, attorney, and certified public accountant from Wilmette, Illinois, has made a significant mark in the financial, legal, and accounting fields. His broad and dynamic expertise has earned him a reputation as a well-established professional, complemented by his active participation in charitable activities that have notably influenced various organizations. Daugerdas's dedication to academic achievement was evident from his early days, graduating with honors from St. Laurence High School in Burbank, Illinois, in 1968. He pursued further education at De Paul University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Commerce with honors in 1972 from the College of Commerce. That same year, he obtained his CPA Certificate from the University of Illinois. His academic pursuits continued at De Paul University’s College of Law, where he earned a Juris Doctor degree with honors, cum laude, in 1974. His professional career began at Arthur Andersen & Co., where he advanced from a staff member to a manager and eventually became a partner in 1984. During his tenure from 1974 to 1994, Daugerdas excelled in various capacities, including as a member of the Mergers, Acquisitions, and Reorganizations Tax Specialty Team and as Head of the Central Region Financial Markets Team. He also led the Chicago Office "On Call" Team and was a part of the Financial Valuation Services Specialty Team. In 1994, Daugerdas joined the Law Offices of Altheimer & Gray as a partner and head of the Tax Department. He later served as a Shareholder/Partner at the Law Offices of Jenkens & Gilchrist from 1999 to 2002, where he managed the Chicago office and co-directed the Tax Practice. He also contributed his skills to the Management Advisory Committee during his tenure at Jenkens & Gilchrist.
