- About me: Hello and welcome!

I'm a wife to my husband, Troy, a momma to three wonderful daughters, a bonus mom to three more amazing kids, and a proud Neni to five beautiful grandbabies. My days are filled with laughter, hugs, chaos, and an endless chorus of "I love yous"—and honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way.

When I'm not spending time with my family, you'll usually find me with my nose buried in a book, writing the next chapter of a story, or chasing grandbabies around the house. I also share my home with five cats, so yes—"crazy cat lady" is a title I've fully embraced!

Writing has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. What began as stories scribbled in notebooks as a young girl has grown into a lifelong passion and career. Over the years, I've been published in newspapers and magazines and have written everything from poems and short stories to novels and stage plays.

One of the most rewarding chapters of my creative journey was writing, producing, directing, and acting in community theater productions that raised funds for The Boys & Girls Clubs of Citrus County, Florida. Storytelling has always been about more than entertainment for me—it's about connection, compassion, and bringing people together.

Professionally, I've also worked in content creation, writing website and social media content for businesses while designing websites and managing social media platforms. Helping brands tell their stories taught me that every voice has a story worth sharing.

Today, my focus has returned to fiction. I was recently contacted by my publisher to develop a Southern Gothic trilogy set in the fictional Blackwater County, Kentucky. These novels explore memory, family, grief, forgiveness, and the emotional truths communities carry across generations, all centered around a mysterious disappearance that continues to haunt the county.

The first novel, \*Where the Creek Runs Black\*, is complete, and the second book is currently in its final stages of development. I am incredibly excited to share this journey with readers.

Beyond the Blackwater trilogy, I have several other projects in the works, including two additional trilogies and a collection of fifteen books that we'll simply call "short stories" for now.

This blog is where I'll share updates, writing insights, behind\-the\-scenes looks at current projects, and occasionally a glimpse into the wonderfully busy life that inspires so much of what I write.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you'll stay awhile.

And please—leave comments, questions, and constructive criticism. You won't hurt my feelings. I promise. Every reader brings a new perspective, and I truly value the conversation.

Welcome to my corner of the world.
