I have been involved in a variety of fandoms, including Science Fiction and Anthropomorphic. If you are worried about strange things at conventions, I can only repeat what my father told me when I told him I was going to a convention: "I trust you. At least it's not a VFW convention. I know what goes on there." (Before anyone complains, he was a veteran of World War II.)
