I am a lady who has always been awkward, is currently awkward, and will probably always be awkward, but also a lady who has decided to finally listen to her therapist and own that shit and make it work for her. I was born in Detroit and still live and work in my city. I love reading, music, and [increasingly] movies. I am the most preppy, feminist, r&b bumping Black comic book/anime/Star Trek nerd you will run into all year. I have absolutely no idea what I want to be when I grow up because I still secretly want to be a ballerina. I frequently tell people I don't like "you can suck a dread!" behind their back. I'm political, a procrastinator, and a shamefully sporadic poster. But I'm funny and witty and I bake delicious cookies, and thus people like me!
