Salt water is my grounding force. As the daughter of a Coastie I spent over half of my formative years within the immediate reach of the open water and the other half knowing I would soon return. While I enjoy my time at the lake cabin and camping on the river, it is the wild, open, tide driven, sea water which I will forever believe runs in my veins. I am blessed to be married to a man who feels the same way so that I can keep faith that we will always be within reach of it. On a good day I like to imagine my creative side as being fueled by that dynamic, far-from-sweet effervescence that is the mysterious mover and shaker of the entire Earth itself, doing nothing but what God put it here to do, yet affecting EVERYTHING. This site is where I will try out my theory and hopefully become even more like it along the way.
