- About me: I'm a dad and a grandpa that loves God, my wife and family, fly fishing and coffee.  I've had a life\-long battle with depression and it has led me down a lot of paths \(some pretty ugly ones\).  I once wrote a lot of horror and dark poetry but now, instead of trying to scare people out of their wits, I strive to encourage and share what has worked for me in learning to live a better life with depression and all the baggage that it carries.

I'm not preaching, I'm reaching.  I strive to have some transparency that leads others, not to emulate me, but to continue to seek the hope that fills the vacuum of despair.
