I am a computer programmer/father/Christian. My major programming accomplishments are _Type To Learn_, a K-12 learn to keyboard program that is marketed by Sunburst, and a division sheet parcel maintenance system that is used by Polk County in Des Moines IA. I currently do performance and quality assurance testing for Bentley Systems in Exton , PA. I wrote this 15 years ago. Since then my career has veered toward Testing Software. After Bentley Systems - I worked at Sunward testing a financial system called Devon that Greg Bentley wrote before the Bentley brothers founded Bentley! After that I worked at eBay testing performance of e-stores. Now I work at Sapphire K-12 software where I test school administration software using Cypress and Selenium and other testing tools. I have a wonderful beautiful wife who is always right named Gretchen. She has an awesome blog (more impressive than this one) on http://hatcloset.blogspot.com called Gretchen's hats. We have been married 21 years. She is insisting that I go to a Christian punk concert on my birthday. She said I could either go to the concert or spend my birthday at home. So I guess I will be at the Troc on my birthday. She is very artsy and always right. Sam (20), Josh (18), Hannah (16) and Ben (12) are my offspring. They are all brilliant and wonderful. God is my close friend, my Rock, and my Redeemer. I accepted Christ when I was 16 after intense conversations with friends in the halls of Lawrence High in Lawrence KS. I was involved in Great Commission International from about 1977-1989. We moved from Kansas to Pennsylvania in 1997. I am currently pursuing close fellowship with God in West Chester, PA. My home church is Cornerstone Fellowship which is also located in West Chester. My favorite Christian podcast is the Daily Audio Bible and my two favorite Christian blogs are bittersweet life and the internet monk.
