I am a political cartoonist, illustrator, designer, and writer. I have published daily cartoons in Canada's Globe and Mail, London's Evening Standard, and online on one of the UK's leading non-partisan political websites, PoliticalBetting.com, which invented the idea of betting on politics back in 2008, backing a man called Barack Obama at 100/1. I have also published a history of art, based on the permanent collection of the National Gallery of Art, Washington, called A World of Art, still an official guide to the museum. Last summer, I had my first solo exhibition at the Guildhall Art Gallery, in the heart of London's financial district - a show called 'City Blues' - on the banking crisis and recession. I am currently working on a graphic novel. I live in London, England, where I was born - but grew up in Montreal and on Lake Memphremagog, where my parents, Mordecai and Florence Richler, brought up five lucky children.
