Lucas Ackerson is a dedicated organizational leader and consultant with 13 years of experience focused on developing leadership in others. His foundation as a college track athlete helped him develop essential qualities such as discipline, perseverance, and resilience, which continue to shape his professional and personal life. He believes adversity builds strength and character and encourages others to trust the process during difficult and uncertain times. His core competencies include organizational leadership, time management, and client relations. He served as Assistant Principal-Athletic Director at a Scottsdale school, where he led strategic projects involving planning, execution, and resource management. He supported performance assessments, strengthened communication with school leadership, and provided coaching to teacher leaders and teams. His work improved operational effectiveness and team readiness. Within the athletic department, he introduced consistent systems and negotiated a Nike Elite Contract and Sports deal, both of which marked key achievements. In the Cave Creek school district, he worked in K–12 Educational Services, offering support to teachers, students, administrators, and the broader community. His role included teacher training, behavioral and instructional coaching, curriculum development, and leadership in professional learning communities. Before that, he was a fourth and fifth-grade teacher and instructional leader in Scottsdale. He worked with peers to align online and in-person instruction with state standards, applied the Check-in Check-out (CICO) system to support student behavior, and created a classroom culture focused on critical thinking and independence. He also spent six years teaching second through fourth grade in Wisconsin. During that time, he served as an instructional leader, PBIS Tier 1 coach, and science curriculum director. His contributions included creating a PBIS expectations video, implementing engagement strategies, developing STEM-based lessons, and applying UDL practices. He received a $500 grant for science materials and supported district-level initiatives for data-driven instruction and planning. In the restaurant industry, he worked as a supervisor, leading operations, performance analysis, customer engagement, and team management. Lucas Ackerson holds degrees from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse, Silver Lake College, and Grand Canyon University. With a strong focus on faith, family, and service, he continues to lead with humility, purpose, and consistency.
