Khaldoun Tabari
Khaldoun Tabari is a distinguished businessman and entrepreneur whose work has profoundly impacted the Middle East's real estate and construction industries. Born in Palestine on January 1, 1950, Tabari moved to the United States to pursue higher education, earning a Business Management and Engineering degree from the University of Colorado in 1973. After graduating, he returned to the UAE and joined his family’s business, Ranya Trading & Contracting. The company was involved in various industries, including construction, pharmaceuticals, and electro-mechanical engineering. This experience provided Tabari with invaluable business skills that laid the foundation for his future ventures. In the early stages of his career, Tabari expanded his horizons internationally, moving to London to work as Executive Director for Multiworld International, a company specializing in exporting electrical materials and consumer products. He also worked with International Marketing & Development Company (INMA) in Saudi Arabia, gaining electrical and mechanical contracting expertise. These roles further expanded his business acumen, preparing him for the entrepreneurial path he would eventually take. In the mid-1980s, Tabari founded Tathniya (TEST) Electro-Mechanical Contracting in Saudi Arabia and TEST Contracting in Dubai. His commitment to excellence and focus on sustainable development helped these businesses grow and become major players in the region’s construction sector. His work in construction eventually led him into real estate development, where he oversaw the creation of large-scale projects that transformed the urban landscape of the Middle East. In addition to his business ventures, Khaldoun Tabari served as Chairman of Vision Investments & Holdings Inc., a diversified holding company providing financial solutions across multiple sectors. His leadership helped the company expand its real estate, infrastructure, and energy footprint. Tabari is also deeply committed to philanthropy. Through the Khaldoun Tabari Swiss Foundation, he supports initiatives focusing on education, healthcare, and cultural preservation, particularly for Palestinian communities.
