- About me: I am Jerry George, a retired Special Education Teacher living in Decatur, Georgia. I am also an Ordained Baptist Minister, and an appointed Mission Chaplain, in the Civil Air Patrol, \(CAP\), an auxiliary of the United States Air Force. Vocations I never aspired to have.  I wanted to be a loner who only occasionally dealt with people. That is what I wrote on my paperwork when I joined the United States Air Force in 1965; right out of high school. Fortunately I did not get what I alluded to. Every position including the one I trained for in the Air Force, has been the opposite. I call myself an introvert by default. My greatest enjoyment comes from my role of Chaplain.
