Jelly-Side Up

Though I've worn many hats (I do love hats!), I am, first and foremost, a writer. I'm always translating the world in my mind into words, and my dream is to help people by sharing those words. This blog is about my writing, my hospital work, and my experience with disability. My great loves (my guinea pig, my loved ones, books, health foods, etc.) will also play starring roles. When I was 19, I almost died from a car accident resulting in a traumatic brain injury. But sometimes, when you fall, you land jelly-side up. (Drawing by Jennifer)
