I am an MA student at the Bath Spa University studying Curatorial Practice. I have a BA in African Studies from the University of Leipzig, Germany and am particularly interested in the ethnography and history of the continet. In my dissertation I compared the histories of three ethnographic museums in Berlin, Brussels and London which made me want to find out more about the debate of art versus artifact and art history in connection with Africa. This led me to pursue an MA in Curatorial Pratice and to broaden my knowledge of art, its versatality, communication and history.
