Previously elected Trade Union Official. Nalgo / Unison, Warwickshire \- West Midlands UK. Seven years Branch Secretary based at Warwick \(1978 to 1985 \). Chair \- Joint district Committee, West Midlands. 
Chair\- Nuneaton and District Trade Council, Lead negotiator with Ministers and Councillors; plus Chair / Secretary \- many other National, Regional and local Committees over a period of five decades plus. 

Elected Councillor, School Governor. Economic adviser, Senior/ Principle Manager, Head of Homes\- Warwickshire County Council. Professional Career and qualifications and gained a Research\- Masters degree\- MSc \(Econ\) 1991 at Cardiff University. Went to Ruskin College, Oxford, 1974\-1976. Also attended Market Bosworth High School. 
Lucky to have loved them all.
Recently was NWC, WMP\-  Lead Organiser and Webmaster. Regional Secretary\- WMPC, 
NPC\- NC and EC.

The cost of living ,and economic crises continues and so many brave people over the world have taken a progressive stance, but feel sure that some Governments are using it all as a way of restricting our liberties and human rights. 
I remain proud of my organised campaigns against all wars and for a environment free from all pollution. 
I am also proud of our huge successful campaign for free transport for all in the West Midlands, when I was Regional Secretary and so many other successful campaigns. 
The following was written after we had produced so many bulletins, so many well attended meetings, so many campaigns against the war. 
Unfortunately, no Labour Councillor turned up to our main rally, but many from North Warwickshire did so. 
Very sad, for the local Nuneaton and Bedworth Labour Party. 
EMMA RAY Coventry Evening Telegraph reported 
ANTI\-WAR protesters took over the steps of Nuneaton Town Hall last night to show their disgust at the start of bombing raids on Iraq.
The Stop the War Group, covering Nuneaton, Bedworth and north Warwickshire, organised the 6pm protest after the first exchanges between troops in the early hours of yesterday morning.
They bought banners, posters, leaflets and a determination to make their feelings known about what they called a "bloody war" and a "war for oil".
About 100 people had already gathered by 6.15pm and organiser Ivor Timson was hoping that by the end of the night, more than 500 people would have turned out to give voice to their concerns.
He said: "This has been very difficult to organise because it's had to be done in such a short space of time.
"But people keep turning up and I'm hoping 500 people will have passed through.
"Our rally on Saturday, at 12pm, is what we are working towards. It's something we've been planning for a long time."
Former mayors of North Warwickshire, husband and wife Anne and Derek Forwood, had gone along to voice concerns over a war without UN backing.
Mr Forwood said: "I'm so cross about Britain and the US ignoring the United Nations and taking unilateral action that I felt I should come along and protest."
Cllr Anne Forwood \(Lab, Atherstone North\) said: "You have to go with your convictions. If they had UN backing I think a lot of people would feel differently."
Many young people also took part, waving banners and urging cars to honk horns in support.
Sean Cairns, aged 15, of Marwood Close, Nuneaton, said: "I don't want there to be a war because lots of innocent people will die and war is bad."

We sent coaches to London. 
So back to the crisis after crises and my final post in my extended Blog. 
Whilst, being very proud of what I have achieved in my lifetime, I still feel strongly that we should continue our campaigns for our environmental, social and human rights. 
Keep up the good work throughout the world.

Thank you all and even today please don't believe all you hear and even our new Prime Minister, Mr Burnham is a protector of the status quo, so just expect a little and continue campaigning. 

Final words perhaps. Flowers bloom now and so many people survived despite so many unnecessary wars Unfortunately so many lost their lives and their loved ones. 
I have not written much recently, as I was hospitalised recently and prior to that it was difficult to bloom. I survived, but the economy of austerity is still with us and now we have two or three\- extreme tory parties, it is likely to continue. We seem to have forgotten quantity easing or perhaps it is called something new these days of crisis. The crisis is a system crisis and the system needs changing, but we can achieve lots through our campaigns. 
Prior to hospital and when I was very much more active, it was so good to have achieved a wonderful settlement for the travel movement in the West Midlands and the six counties. But we all have so much to learn and so much to be inspired by. Although I was described as outstanding as the Regional Secretary of the West Midlands Pensioners Convention by letter and the news mail, we achieved so much due to the team factor. I loved working with you all in all my elected positions for all our progressive causes. I will never forget the times at Birmingham, Coventry, Warwickshire and the West Midlands. Thank you for your support. We gained so much for so many and it just took hard work, dedication and a good and progressive teamwork plan.
My words about my local hospital unfortunately remain true and it needs to be re\- nationalised. 

So back to macro\- economics.
Again, I have predicted a slump/ recession, but again not hard has we are living in a broken society and a world with wars and the recession has been with us for decades. 
Economics is not a precise science. 
So were do I end, having written now for many years. Perhaps it has to be my starter on thin ice and perhaps it is necessary, because we should move forward progressively and move forward, but we will have to break the ice.
