Resident, Qincheng prison, 1982 (espionage, 15years); conviction overturned in 1989. Now engaged in strategic consultancy in PRC, Taiwan and HK. Winner of the Society of Publishers in Asia (SOPA) 2022 Editorial Award for Excellence in Opinion Writing. 生於香港。 1970年拔萃男書院畢業，1973年哈佛大學畢業，1976年哈佛大學法學院畢業。 曾任美國最大的法律事務所律師。 1978-82年在北京外貿大學和北京大學法學院（七七、七八級）講授法律。 兼任多個政府部門法律顧問，參與立法。 1982年因間諜罪坐繫秦城監獄；1989年秋罪名推翻。 今在兩岸三地從事策略顧問工作。 獲得2022年SOPA（亞洲出版業協會）卓越評論獎
