Daniel G. Van Der Vliet

Daniel G. Van Der Vliet has been the Executive Director of the Smith Family Business Initiative at Cornell since its inception in 2014. The Smith Family Business Initiative at Cornell is dedicated to supporting and strengthening the network of owners, leaders, and alumni that work in, with or for a family business. The Smith Family Business Initiative provides education, networking and new knowledge for family business owners, successors, and students from across the globe. Dann is a 2010 graduate of the Master of Education Interdisciplinary Studies program at the University of Vermont and a 2001 graduate of the University of Vermont with a B.S. in Natural Resources.
