Ethan Ruby

Ethan Ruby, Esq., is a New York attorney and licensed independent insurance adjuster with a professional focus on labor law, insurance defense, and high-exposure claims. He built a strong academic foundation through studies at the Bronx High School of Science, Binghamton University, and the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Born in 1995 and raised on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, he grew up in a multicultural household with dual citizenship in the United States and France. His parents operated a hospitality business in New York City, and their dedication to building a successful enterprise profoundly influenced his perspective on hard work and leadership. In high school, Attorney Ethan Ruby was active in sports and served on the school’s state champion mock trial team. He began his undergraduate studies in New Orleans, where he also volunteered with a nonprofit supporting boys who had lost their fathers. He later transferred and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics, and Law in December 2017. Before entering law school, Ethan gained legal experience as a paralegal at a Wall Street immigration firm and as an intern for a judge at the New York County Supreme Court. These roles gave him early insight into the legal system. While attending law school, he joined the mediation clinic, served as an Associate Editor of a legal journal, and interned with public-interest and legal-aid organizations. After passing the New York Bar in 2021, he began his legal career concentrating on labor law and insurance litigation. He prepared legal documents, conducted depositions, managed discovery, and negotiated settlements. In 2023, he progressed to managing high-exposure cases involving complex legal issues. Since September 2024, Ethan Ruby has overseen claims involving labor law, construction incidents, and property damage, consistently applying his legal knowledge and practical experience with clarity and professionalism.
