# AI Context for OnReDesign

## Profile
- Name: OnReDesign
- About me: Welcome, I am Emily S. Armstrong, a graduate of IUPUI with a BS in Media Arts and Science; I also minored in Computer Science. I currently work as a Web Interface Developer for ofcdesk, llc. Basically, I like focusing on the programming behind the web and making the pretty things work. I have taken classes and done work in numerous languages and mark\-ups including: PHP, MySQL, VB.NET, ASP.NET, , C\#, VBA, C , XHTML/HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I enjoy PHP the most though, especially since it is now object\-oriented and still open\-source. My school utilizes the Adobe Suites CS5, so I am also proficient in Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash. Take a look at my Capstone Site or traditional résumé.

As my screen name and logo suggest, I place an emphasis on redesign. I excel at finding a quicker, more efficient way to do things. It can be as simple as ensuring your pictures and documents are web\-optimized for quick load times, or as complex as doing a full algorithm analysis on your code to ensure the most efficient delivery of your product to your client.

My History

While in the US Army Reserves and working, I have attended school part\-time. My professional career started when I worked as a Manufacturing Engineer Tech for a large automotive brake supplier in Florida. While working there, I received my Associates Degree in Pre\-Computer Science from Pensacola Junior College. I moved back to my home state of Indiana for a job as a Quality Engineer with a large automotive seat\-belt supplier. To attend school, I needed a second\-shift job, so I began work as the evening Quality Lead and Coordinate Measuring Machine programmer for a local tool and die shop. My professional experience highlights my analytical, process improvement, and problem\-solving skills.

Interests & Service

I am a service\-oriented person. I started going on mission trips as a teen with my church, and continued with missions for the Army Reserves and church as an adult. Because of my nature, it follows naturally that I am a huge proponent of volunteer work. I volunteer for and am a member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the 40 & 8. I am also an Assistant Director / Visual Technician of the Mooresville High School Color Guard. I have a passion for the Arts and keeping them in our schools, so I love sharing my knowledge with the next generation. All\-in\-all, I am proud to say I volunteer over 150 hours a year!
