Dr Akotoye is a Dental Surgeon by profession. He has worked at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital dental department and is now currently with the Tema General Hospital dental department. Dr Akotoye is passionate about universal oral healthcare, especially among the population who have limited access to dentistry.
