Deanie is a children's author with four books published, award winning, Tails of Sweetbrier, Charlie the Horse, Charlene the Star and Hattie's Heroes. and Charlene the Star and Bentley Bulldog. Tails of Sweetbrier was chosen "Most Inspirational story of 2009, by the staff of the Pawling Book Cove, as well as the Silver medal in the Feathered Quill Book Awards, finalist in the CLIPPA, honorable mention in the Purple Dragon Fly Awards.Her second book, Charlie the Horse, was a book of the week selection. Deanie specializes in books that encourage and inspire children. All of her books are beautifully illustrated by her sister, Holly Humphrys-Bajaj. Deanie has been featured on several author websites. She has been interviewed on several author websites and appeared in the TV program CTStyle. Deanie has also won an author award "50 Great Books You Should be Reading in 2015. Deanie is a graduate of the Institute of Children's Literature. She enjoys watching equestrian events, and figure skating events, baseball, and spending time with her family.
