Before that, I wrote, edited, and podcasted about the business of WordPress for Post Status. New Local Media is my open-source solutions consultancy, founded in 2004. As a generalist, I have worked in many other fields, including academia, journalism, publishing, advocacy, political and community organizing, and freelance subversion.
