We were a gourmet cupcake place in Florida. We did it all! The Doc prescribed writing as a cure for boredom after we closed in 2015. We closed because of economics and my husband's health. He has metastatic cancer now being treated by the VA. My debut novel "The Bayou Heist" came out in 2023. I am currently at work on my second novel, a follow up of Faith and Timothy's adventures as they meander to the Catskills. A third novel is tentatively planned. Writing is my creative outlet and it is one hobby I enjoy. I have never made my living as a writer although I was a journalist for a small paper in the Gulf Coast years ago. I also worked in sales and had my own business cleaning, shopping, and helping out newcomers to the area during this time. It was never in my cards to earn a living as a novelist. My Bayou Heist Series features a small place down South where everyone knows your name and then I move on. With my writing, I try to use settings I am familiar with from small towns to overseas including Abu Dhabi and the Catskill Mountains. My husband and I enjoy living on the West Coast of Florida with our pugs. Thanks for following. I updated this on Thanksgiving Day 2025.
