Abed Bakkour

Abed Bakkour is a PhD researcher at the University of Skövde, Sweden, specializing in multi-agent reinforcement learning and distributed control for intelligent manufacturing systems. His research focuses on developing data-driven and cooperative learning frameworks to enhance quality coordination and decision-making in the steel industry. He holds a Master’s degree in Data Science from the University of Skövde and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Beirut Arab University. Before starting his PhD, Abed worked as a Data Scientist and Full Stack Developer and collaborated on industrial AI applications. His previous roles also include Data Analyst and Software Developer, contributing to both research and practical software solutions. Abed’s research interests include multi-agent systems, deep reinforcement learning, industrial optimization, and explainable AI.
