I learned what it was to be an artist from an early age from my grandmother. I spent summers with her crafting, painting, drawing, knitting, and crocheting. I began practicing photography, inspired by my grandmother's own work. She taught me the basics of photography and gave my my first SLR Pentax 35mm camera. From that point on I couldn't put the camera down. I graduated in 2007 from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts, and received my Masters of Education in 2010.
