Oh, what to say about myself. I wish I could describe, in great detail, all the things you should know about me. I wish it were simply saying, I'm a 28 year old single mom. I work in a doctor's office, I enjoy doing nothing. But it's not. There are many facets to who I am, why I am and even where I am. I strive to be a person of simple tastes and means, to enjoy the small things and laugh at myself. There are times when life gets me down and I feel beaten and blue. I have extreme highs and deeper than the ocean lows. This blog is certainly a reflection of that.

I like to say I'm level headed and serene, when in fact, I know I'm nothing of the sort. I'm the emotional kind, a ready to fight for what I believe type, a don't mess with my kid, 'cause I'll beat you over the head with this spatula type and certainly a I'll love you to the end type.

I don't blog for any other reason than I want to. This is my place to hang out, voice what I'm feeling, complain and rejoice. I'm not an aspiring writer, although I have many posts about writing. I am aspiring to be a super mom, a better listener, a woman who can stand on her own two feet, someone who won't take guff from anyone. When I reach those goals, maybe I'll stop blogging and start saving the world. Until then, I'm just me.
