This is a unique Government recognized First Aid course that can get you certified in Standard First Aid and CPR in a more convenient format. No more sitting in a classroom for 2 days and missing work or other important errands. One day of e learning at the convenience of your own schedule. Print off the completion report and prebook the second day of classroom physical skills. Write the exam and you have your 3 year certification. WHO WILL BENEFIT: Everyone can benefit from a first aid course… Workers are required to have this training under the First Aid Regulations, particularly if they are the Fire Marshalls at their place of employment, a Safety person, or travel over 20 minutes surface time for work related purposes. New parents and care givers of the elderly and sick will learn CPR and prevention of injuries. What makes the blended online program so effective is that it mixes learning styles and fits your schedule. You can learn the 6.5 hours of e learning materials in your office or own living room. That leaves you with one day of classroom to try out the physical skills. Two Components to the Standard First Aid Blended On line program: a) Online portion Inform the instructor that you are registering through the Allstar Enviro Safety portal. Take the 6.5 hours of theory, which can be broken up into several sessions if you wish to do a portion every night. Print out the Student Completion Report and bring it to the Classroom along with government issued picture i.d. b) Classroom portion Physical skill practice such as CPR, Haines recovery position, Choking, Wound management, Slings and Splints, Muscoloskeletal injuries and more will be practiced with a participant. After a 6.5 hour plus session, write your exam. Receive a certificate from IPSR/Global Training Centre Standard First Aid. This is a Workplace Alberta First Aid recognized program, with a 3 year certification.
