I grew up in NYC but was always a beach bum. Summers in the Hampton's (no, not like on Revenge) and attending college near the most beautiful beaches did it. I have a beach bag ready to go from May to September. Running came later. Started running on-and-off in college, but never stuck to it until my late-20's. Now at 40 running is the thread that connects all the other parts of my wonderful life!
