I've challenged myself to write a story a day in 2022. I've published several of them already with Paragraph Planet and Haikuniverse. I'm the author of The Shadow of A Dog I Can't Forget - Poems & Prose, Squinting Over Water - Stories and in 2021 Three Soul-Makers: Poems That Bring Us Together. I've gotten several writer's grants with Arts Council Silicon Valley and a $5,000 Poetry Award from the Dorothy Sargent Rosenburg Foundation. I'm the Flash Fiction Judge for the San Francisco Soul-Making Keats Literary Competition. I grew up near Boston and have lived in New York City and Malibu and now the San Francisco Bay Area. The great loves of my life are my silly Golden Retrievers. This is my third Kathy Fish Intensive. My flash piece A Child's Night from one of her online classes was a 2020 Writer's Digest winner in the short short story category.
