My name is Angie Skelhorn and I live in Canada. My interest include tarot, and other forms of divination, astrology, spirituality, mythology and harness racing. At the beginning of the book Carm becomes a widow when her husband dies in a devastating storm. After her whole life changes, determined not to move back home and trying to figure out how to survive she comes in contact with helpful and awful people. Carm wanting to be part of the group consumes drugs and alcohol to make her feel accepted by her peers and to fill her loneliness. Her living situation breaking down an introduction to Gretchen a witch introduces her to a new way of knowing, and a new way of living.
