Wesley Macedo
(M.Arch., 2015 & B. Arch., 2010, University of Sao Paulo – USP), architect and an assistant professor; within Architecture and Urban Design, Theory and History of Art and Architecture. His master’s dissertation research addresses the New York City alternative art space movement in the 1970s, focusing on MoMA-PS1, since its creation as PS1 Institute for Contemporary Art in 1976, when occupied a former abandoned public school building. As a graduate student has been awarded a scholarship and was a visiting researcher at MoMA-PS1 Archives in 2012 & 14. He has also worked as a volunteer at MoMA-PS1 Visitor Services department during the summer of 2015.
