Wendy Scheirich

Hello, I am Wendy Scheirich from Winnipeg, Manitoba. I worked as a health and social services professional for over forty years on issues related to sexual abuse and exploitation. Due to vicarious trauma, my work had a determental affect on my own sex life. Now I wish to reverse that affect, and seek ways to experience healthy sexual pleasure for my remaining years of life. This blog is an invitation for others to join me, particularly women, who have a similar quest. I recently completed a masters degree in Educational leadership and soon I will complete training in somatic sex education, therefore I plan to share information about my new educational discoveries with my blog readers. In this respect, I envision the potential for bold steps forward to be revealed to heal past sexual trauma and to enjoy healthy, respectful and pleasurable sexuality in the present.
