Hi lovely peeps! I'm Vicky, 30, living on the sunny Isle of Wight with my husband to be, Thomas, and our noisy but loveable zebra finches, Derek and Rodney. I'm a trainee solicitor (for my sins!) with a passion for all things vintage, vw cars, baking, running, horses and zumba. Bit of an odd list isn't it! I'm getting married in 5 weeks (scared rather than excited) and both me and Tom have tried to do everything on a budget where we can, believing that you don't have to spend a fortune to have an amazing day and that it really isn't worth a lifetime of being in the red! I've enjoyed hunting out some good bargains and being creative, so I would love to share this with other brides to be. We've gone for a vintage seaside theme, as we met on the Island and have spent so many happy times walking on the Island's gorg beaches that it's definetely a special vibe for us. It's been fab fun thinking of quirky ways to incorporate this into the day without going full on seaside tack ;) Hopefully I can also provide a bit of inspiration for others looking at this sort of theme.
