Virginia Farrell is a Canadian poet and writer. To escape the formidable winters, she dreams of, and sometimes travels to, other places. There she finds inspiration in ruins, lush overgrowth, cheap wine and a view of the sea that drops from the earth. Currently, she is working on a novel-length manuscript and, as always, writing poetry. Her poems can be found in Clear Poetry, Yellow Chair Review, and Red Fez, among others.
