@MelindaFriesen Melinda Friesen is the author of the YA sci-fi/ dystopian novel, Enslavement, the first book in the One Bright Future series. She began writing six years ago on a whim and has been captivated ever since. She writes novels for teens and short stories, dividing her time between composing her eleventh novel, editing the previous ten, and learning everything she can about writing, editing, and publishing. Melinda lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada with her husband and four children.
