I am a twenty something with big ideas. My husband and I are working towards creating a permaculture space in our back yard. Growing up in town, I have always felt a sense of disconnection with our food source, with nature and in terms of understanding the interconnectedness that surround us in forests and natural spaces. Following the birth of our children, my desire to find my true place in this world, increased a thousand fold. I found myself in need, great need, of connection with the world around me. And I don't mean the commercial world we are privey to everyday. I mean with the trees and plants and the earth. SO, when we purchased our slice of land, our home, we made the decision to see just how much we could grow. This is our Journey.
