We're Michael & Marguerite Hunt and we had a dream to live in Tuscany once we'd decided to leave our Welsh home. The search for the perfect place took several years, and false starts, and we bought a property that was nothing like the description we'd given the house agents. Originally we had intended buying a small town house in walking distance of the local cafe-bar with a courtyard garden with views of Tuscany. We bought a huge house that needed finishing with a massive 3 acre bramble field but it does have amazing views of Tuscany. The blog is a diary of our experiences, people, places and events.
