Trudy Ann
I am from India originally and now live in Vancouver, BC. I have a Chai and spice business, Trudy Ann's Chai. Made with all organic ingredients. For our family, cooking delicious food involves taking our time and using fresh organic ingredients. We cook with ingredients that are local and in season and do most of our shopping at Farmers Markets or small local stores. We love the book Nourishing Traditions by Sally Fallon Morell. It has endless guides to healthy eating and living. I was recently cured of my diabetes by following Dr. Gabriel Cousen's diet from the book, There is a Cure for Diabetes! I never cooked as a child but was surrounded by great cooks. My job was to taste the food! I cooked for the first time when I arrived in North America in my 20’s at University. My older son wanted to learn to cook and his constant request was, "Can you write this recipe down?". After many lost scraps of paper, I decided to start this blog for him but also for other friends who are constantly asking me for ideas. Hope you have fun cooking! Please check my website too.
