The author of DRIVING THE BIRDS is a dedicated writer, novelist, and now author. Like many, Russell had always wanted to be a writer but a career and raising three sons had to come first. In 2005 with the boys lost in their own pursuits, he began a regiment of daily writing, a discipline he maintains. In 2008, he and Jabonkah met at work and had worked together for seven months until story and novelist met. The result is: DRIVING THE BIRDS, Jabonkah's childhood story. Russell brought to bear his skills as a novelist to bring life to Jabonkah's story and give her a voice!
