Hmm, About me. Where do I start. I have been married to my best friend Karl since 1975. I was 16 and he was 20. We had 2 beautiful, talented and loving daughters Jennifer and Stephanie by the time I was 21. We built our own house when I was 19. I have been and always will be a crazy animal person. I have never met a creature I don't love. I have raised calves, possums, raccoons, lambs and 100's of puppies. That may not sound too special but all those I named were raised in the house (some in diapers)!!! My husband is beyond tolerant of me and my obsession (or he has given up after 42 years!) I love insects, snakes and have done CPR on our Emu (that will be a story all it's own). We now live on an 11 acre farm in Western NC near the Appalachian Mts. MY dream farm! I hope you will follow along and enjoy some of my crazy adventures. There are many and I seem to create new ones almost daily. Sit back and enjoy the ride. I do!
